Testicular Germ Cell Tumor Tissue Biomarker Analysis: A Comparison of Human Protein Atlas and Individual Testicular Germ Cell Tumor Component Immunohistochemistry

چکیده
The accurate management of testicular germ cell tumors (TGCTs) depends on identifying the individual histological tumor components. Currently available data protein expression in TGCTs are limited. human atlas (HPA) is a comprehensive resource presenting and localization proteins across tissue types diseases. In this study, we have compared from HPA with our in-house immunohistochemistry core TGCT diagnostic genes to test reliability potential biomarker genes. We 15 patients non-neoplastic testicles HPA. Protein was converted into positivity. Our study discovered discrepancies three six genes, POU5F1, KIT SOX17 DPPA3, CALCA TDGF1 were presented as novel biomarkers. MGMT confirmed while RASSF1 PRSS21 identified biomarkers healthy tissue. Finally, SALL4, SOX17, dysregulation surrounding complete preserved spermatogenesis detected, early sign neoplastic transformation. highlight importance multidisciplinary collaborative approach fully understand landscape testis its pathologies.

Giant Testicular Mixed Germ Cell Tumor
Objective: We report a case that we believe to be the largest example of a testicular mixed germ cell tumor with a clearly defined histology pattern. Clinical Presentation and Interventions: A 21-year-old patient consulted a urologist concerning a giant testicular mass. At the time of presentation the tumor measured 29 ! 20 ! 16 cm, with a weight of 4,850 g. Serum ·-fetoprotein was over 15,000 ...
متن کاملHistopathology and Biology of Testicular Germ Cell Tumor
The versatile histopathology, clinical presentation, and biologic behavior of testicular neoplasms reflect the complex composition of the male gonad. Each component can develop different tumor types; thus, there are testicular germ cell tumor (TGT), sex cord/stromal tumor, miscellaneous tumors arising from rete testis or paratesticular structures, and tumors not specific to testicular parenchym...
متن کاملPure Testicular Teratoma Presenting as a Metastatic Germ Cell Tumor
Mature teratoma comprises 5-10 % of all testicular neoplasms. Pure testicular teratoma is rare in adulthood with an incidence of 5 %. Regardless of differentiation postpubertal testicular teratoma have aggressive behavior and microscopic appearance of metastasis may differ from that of the primary. We present a case of pure teratoma of testis in an adult presenting as a metastatic germ cell tumor.

Testicular cancer is rare. The authors report the case of a young Senegalese 21, who has consulted for an occlusive syndrome evolving for 48 hours that prompted his hospitalization. Note that the patient has consulted several times to persistent inguinal scrotal pain, a big right purse with chronic analgesic requirements and anti-inflammatory. Occlusive before this table, abdominal pelvic CT wa...
متن کاملIsolated eyeball metastasis of non-seminomatous germ cell testicular tumor.
INTRODUCTION Testicular tumors most frequently metastasize to regional lymph nodes. Non-seminomatous tumor metastasis of testicle (NSGCTT) to the eyeball is rare. CASE REPORT We presented a 24-year old man, referred to the ophthalmologist due to acute pain and abrupt loss of sight in the left eye accompanied by its enlargement. Orbital and endocranial computerized tomography (CT) was carried ...
